The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Portland-Vancouver Metro area and an Ice Storm Warning for the Willamette Valley.
Freezing rain is expected to start falling in the Willamette Valley late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. The Willamette Valley could get up to a third of an inch of ice.
The Portland-Vancouver Metro area could get light snow and freezing rain.
Another system Friday morning could bring more snow or freezing rain to the Portland area. It should change to rain by Friday afternoon, except in East Portland and the Columbia River gorge where freezing rain could continue until Saturday morning.
