Driver Rescued From Burning Van

Portland Police and firefighters rescued a woman from a burning vehicle.

On Monday, officers responded to a single vehicle crash at Mount Scott Boulevard and 112th Avenue.

The engine of the car was on fire and the driver told 911 she was trapped and burning.

Firefighters broke the windshield and pulled the 47-year-old Portland woman from the car. They treated her at the scene and she's hospitalized with serious injuries.

The woman was cited for driving under the influence.
