Ballot boxes were damaged by arson Monday morning in Portland and Vancouver.
In Portland, the fire was inside of the box. The Multnomah County Elections office says fire suppressant inside of the box protected all but three ballots. Elections will contact those three voters, so they can cast new ballots.
In Vancouver, a suspicious device next to the box was burning and the box was on fire. The Metro Explosives Disposal Unit collected the device and put out the fire.
The FBI is investigating.
