Oregon Humane Society Holds Meow-tragious Kitten Event

Oregon Humane Society is reducing adoption fees by 50 percent for cats and kittens, Friday through Sunday, July 26-28. The adoption promotion is taking place at OHS’ Portland and Salem campuses, with additional outreach events designed to make bringing a new kitten home more convenient.

“This is one of the busiest kitten seasons we have seen in many years,” says Chase Patterson, OHS Vice President of Operations. “Every day our team is fielding requests from local shelters, rescue groups, and the public asking for help.”

There are currently more than 680 cats and kittens in OHS’ care in Portland and Salem. Of these, close to 300 are available for adoption and ready to be welcomed into a loving home.
