New York Knicks All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson is questionable to return for Game 2 of his team's second-round series against the Indiana Pacers after suffering a foot injury, the Knicks confirmed on their public relations X account.

"Jalen Brunson (sore right foot) is questionable to return," the team wrote.

TNT sideline reporter Chris Haynes confirmed that the injury was to Brunson's right foot specifically.

"New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson experiencing a sore right foot and is questionable to return," Haynes wrote on his X account.

Brunson left the game late in the first quarter after recording five points, one assist and one rebound in eight minutes. The Knicks trailed the Pacers, 73-63, at halftime and were outscored, 37-27, in the second quarter.

Brunson averaged 36.6 points, 8.6 assists and 3.9 rebounds through the Knicks' first seven games of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, which included scoring 43 points, six assists and six rebounds in New York's Game 1 win against Indiana on Monday (May 6), his fourth consecutive 40-point performance.

The Knicks have already been without multi-time All-Star forward Julius Randle since January due to a dislocated shoulder.
