A man suffering an apparent mental health crisis fell onto a fire truck in Vancouver Saturday evening.
The man was on the roof of a building near West 6th and Washington Street downtown throwing bricks, glass and other materials damaging property and potentially injuring people below.
The man crawled on a phone line over the street, and firefighters moved their truck underneath to catch the man.
He fell onto the fire engine and immediately got up. The man surrendered to police and he was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
