Portland Police Seek Shooting Suspects

Portland Police release video of a car that was driven by suspects who shot and paralyzed a man in Southeast Portland.

The incident happened on May 30 at approximately 9:09 p.m. under the East end of the Hawthorne Bridge.

Police say the investigation suggests the victims were approached by three subjects while crossing over the Hawthorne Bridge to the east side.

After a brief interaction, the victims walked down the staircase from the bridge leading to Southeast Water Avenue. Once underneath the bridge on Southeast Water Avenue, the subjects who encountered the victims on the bridge were now inside a blue colored sedan.

The subjects began chasing down the victims and shot multiple rounds towards them. The victim who was found shot on the scene was instantly paralyzed.
