Portland Police have arrested a suspect in a stabbing that killed two people in Northeast Portland.
Thursday night, members of Central Precinct, K-9 Unit, Air Support Unit, and the Homicide detail located and arrested 38 year-old Phillip Nelson. Nelson is suspected of killing Cassy Leaton and Najaf "Nate" Hobbs on June 16th, 2020 in the 1400 block of Northeast Davis Street.
Nelson was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on an arrest warrant for two counts of Murder in the First Degree.
Police have not released details about what led to the stabbing.
