Police Seek Assault Suspect


Portland Police are asking for tips to identify a suspect who assaulted a homeless person in Northwest Portland.

The attack happened on May 30 near Northwest 2nd and Everett Street.

The subject is described as a white male wearing a black hoodie with a red bandana face covering. Another subject, who is believed to have intervened in the altercation, is described as a white male wearing a blue sweatshirt.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding these subjects or incident to please contact the Detective Division at (503)823-0400.

Anyone with information about individuals who committed criminal activity at any event is asked to share that information with the Portland Police Bureau. Information can be sent via email to CrimeTips@portlandoregon.gov.
