Stowaway Rescued From Freight Train

Early Saturday morning, a railroad employee checking a freight train in Clackamas heard a person calling for help.

The person had boarded the train in Eugene and fell between two large stacks of lumber and couldn't get out.

Firefighters say the person was weak and couldn't get out by themselves. They used a rope system to pull the person out.

The person had been trapped since Friday.

The man was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
