Shoppers Hit Stores To Prepare For Coronavirus

Some stores in the Portland area had an increase in customers buying supplies in the event the coronavirus outbreak worsens.

Several stores had shelves that were nearly empty.

The volume of customers at some Costco stores was described as similar to Christmas.

Emergency management officials say it's always a good idea to have two weeks of supplies on hand for a disaster.

Those supplies will help prepare you for a major earthquake or in the event reaction to suppress coronavirus requires less travel.
