Police are investigating an incident Friday night where a utility truck ran over and killed a man who was laying on a sidewalk.
It happened around 7:23 p.m. near Southeast 17th and Tacoma Street in Portland.
Neighbors say the man was who was on the sidewalk was homeless and they'd often seen him in the area.
The driver of the utility truck remained at the scene.
The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team is conducting the investigation.
