Firefighters in Yamhill County rescued a driver whose car stalled in high water.
The incident happened Tuesday morning on Southwest Bellevue Highway. The driver tried to get through a foot of water, but the car stalled.
A fire vehicle with higher clearance pulled alongside and rescued the driver.
Firefighters caution that if you come across high water turn around and don't drive through it. It's difficult to know the depth of the water and whether the road is safe.
