An 11-year-old boy was hit by a car and killed Monday near McCarty Middle School in Gresham.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. as the boy was crossing Southeast Hogan Road and Southeast 5th Street.
Police say the boy was in a crosswalk and was walking with the signal.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The driver took a sobriety test, but police have not released the details of their investigation.
