Fatal Beaverton Stabbing, Suspect Arrested

Four people were stabbed Wednesday morning in Beaverton at the Murry Hill shopping center and one of those people has died.

Police say the suspect stole a car and fled the scene.

The suspect tried to carjack other vehicles in Tigard near Highway 99-W and Highway 217.

Nearby Westside Christian High School was locked down while police searched for the suspect. The person was located and arrested. He's identified as 20-year-old Salvador Martinez-Romero.

The incident started as a robbery.

The stabbing victim in the bank suffered critical injuries. The two other stabbing victims are expected to survive.

The Washington County Major Crimes Team is investigating.
