The National Weather Service has issued Winter Weather Advisories for the Northern Willamette Valley and the Columbia River Gorge. This affects Salem north to Kelso and from the Coast Range to the Cascade foot hills.
On the Valley Floor wet snow is possible with no significant accumulation. It'll change to rain overnight. Hills above 500 feet could see minor accumulation.
Snow could change to light freezing rain in the hills on Sunday, changing to rain later in the day.
Cold air coming through the Columbia River Gorge will bring snow and freezing rain. The West end of the Gorge will likely get freezing rain while Cascade Locks to Hood River could get 2 to 5 inches of snow.
It'll also be windy through the Gorge with some gusts reaching 45 miles an hour.
