Oregon State Police responded to a crash Wednesday night on Hwy 18 east of Sheridan.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a black 1994 Honda Accord was eastbound on Hwy 18 when a westbound white 1995 Honda Civic attempted to turn left, into a business driveway, in the path of the Accord.
The driver and front seat passenger in the Civic were hospitalized with injuries. The two back seat passengers, 35-year-old Ralph Lehn, of McMinnville, and 49-year-old Claudia Barclay, of Eugene, were killed.
Hwy 18 was closed for approximately four hours.
