Portland Police are investigating a body found in the Willamette River downstream from the St. Johns Bridge.
The family of missing University of Portland freshman Owen Klinger released a statement saying it appears the body is that of Owen and the family is asking for privacy.
Klinger was last seen leaving the university on October 6 and new video released by police on Friday showed Klinger walking toward the St. Johns neighborhood.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to positively identify the body and determine the cause of death.
