Priority 1 Cybertip Leads To Arrest

The Vancouver Police Digital Evidence Cybersrime Unit got a rare Priority 1 Cybertip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. It's rare, because it means a child is in immediate danger.

The Taskforce received a tip from the app Discor, which is an online chat and media distribution service that primarily serves the online gaming community.

Police tracked the IP address to a computer in Washougal and they arrested 26-year-old Stephen Price.

Price faces five charges including Rape of a Child, Child Molestation and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
