A semi tried to take the detour for Cornelius Pass Road using Old Cornelius Pass Road and got stuck blocking the road for several hours.
Trucks are supposed to take the detour, because there are so many tight curves.
No one was hurt.
Traffic could use the other detour: NW Germantown Road from Washington County to reach NW Skyline Blvd. and NW Newberry Road to reach Highway 30.
The semi was cleared around 3 p.m.
