The Broadway Bridge will be closed to motor vehicles from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. the weekend of July 13 - 14, weather permitting, for a required biennial structural inspection and maintenance work. The bridge will also be closed the weekend of August 3-4 at the same hours to complete the work. Bridge sidewalks will remain open to bicyclists and pedestrians. The drawbridge will still open for river traffic.
Drivers can use the Steel Bridge or Fremont Bridge when the Broadway Bridge is closed. TriMet's 17-Broadway/Holgate bus route will detour to the Steel Bridge. For information on Portland Streetcar service, visit: https://portlandstreetcar.org/alerts.
