Aloha High Teacher/Wrestling Coach Indicted

Multnomah County District Attorney Rod Underhill announced that a grand jury has indicted 30-year-old Timothy Yee, a teacher with the Beaverton School District.

The 14-count indictment charges Yee with 12 counts of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct and two counts of luring a minor.

Yee is a teacher and wrestling coach at Aloha High School, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The victim in this case was 16 years old in 2018 when the alleged offenses occurred, according to court documents.

According to the indictment, Yee unlawfully and knowingly allowed, and induced, the victim to engage in sexually explicit conduct that was recorded on several different occasions between the months of June and August 2018. Additionally, it is alleged that Yee unlawfully and knowingly furnished more than one visual representation of sexual conduct and exchanged in sexually explicit messaging with the minor for the sole purpose of sexual gratification.

An indictment is only an accusation of a crime. Yee is innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Anyone with additional information on this case is asked to call Washington County Sheriff Detective Robert Rookhuyzen at 503-846-2673.
