Suspect In 2013 Arson Wanted By Portland Police

The Portland Police Bureau and Portland Fire & Rescue, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect in a 2013 arson investigation.

On May 7, 2013, at approximately 3:15 a.m., an unknown person attempted to set fire to the Wild Orchid Gentlemen's Club, located at 15826 Southeast Division Street. The suspect was at the club earlier in the evening and was involved in a fight in the parking lot, resulting in a security guard deploying pepper spray.

Investigators believe that the suspect drove away from the club, purchased a gas can and gas at a nearby 7-Eleven store, and then returned to the Wild Orchid to set the fire.

The suspect is described as a white male, stocky build, wearing a gray t-shirt with white writing on the chest, and possibly driving a Dodge Durango.

For reference, the Wild Orchid is now known as the Spearmint Rhino.
