The Columbia County Sheriff's office is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found along Neer City Road around Noon on Wednesday.
A person called 911 to report finding the body.
Investigators from the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, the St. Helens Police Department, Scappoose Police Department and the Oregon State Police are investigating.
They had tentatively identified the body and will release the name after relatives are notified.
