A video surveillance system helped a Silverton area homeowner alert police to a burglary.
The surveillance system alerted the owner Wednesday afternoon when two men entered the house.
The resident called 911 and Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded.
By the time they arrived, the suspects were gone.
They video captured good quality photos of the suspects and a short time later, deputies located the vehicle in the 8800 block of Silverton Road NE and arrested 33-year-old Lawrence Hammond and 53-year-old Eugene Schott.
They are charged with Burglary.
