A dive team was dispatched after a car was found submerged and upside down in the Cowlitz River.
Cowlitz 911 received a call from a boater that he had spotted a submerged vehicle in the Cowlitz River.
It was located about four miles north of Castle Rock near the Imboden Boat launch.
Deputies and Dive Rescue were dispatched. It was unknown whether anyone was in the car.
The Dive Team determined the car was empty.
The owner of the car was contacted and reported that he had recently sold the car to "someone."
