A man was killed and two people injured in an early morning fire at a Keizer mobile home park.
At 5:44 a.m. Keizer firefighters were called to the Rainbow Gardens Mobile Village for a fire in a mobile home.
A barking dog alerted neighbors who called 911.
A woman was able to escape the fire, but a man was still inside. A neighbor tried to rescue the man, but was forced back by smoke and flames. The man died in the fire.
The woman and neighbor were hospitalized with serious injuries.
A dog died in the fire and a second dog was rescued.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
