Teenager Killed In Highway 6 Crash

Saturday morning around 7:13 a.m. five teenagers were in a car on Highway 6 west of Banks when investigators say the car drifted from the road and hit a tree.

Four teenagers were hospitalized. One teen died at the scene.

The highway was closed for four hours while the investigation was conducted.

Oregon State Police is investigating. They were assisted by the Washington County Sheriffs Office, Banks Fire Department, and Forest Grove Fire Department.

The cause remains under investigation. The names of the teenagers haven't been released.
