Snow Possible Sunday Night Into Monday

The National Weather Service forecasts a storm system arriving Sunday evening could bring snow to Portland, Vancouver, the Central Willamette Valley, Coast and Coast Range.

Snow accumulation could range between 2 and 8 inches with the greater amounts near the Coast Range.

Freezing Rain will be possible near Troutdale and Washougal Monday night.

A Winter Storm Watch for the Cascades is calling for 1 to 2 feet of snow in the Northern Cascades Saturday night through Sunday morning with an additional 1 to 2 feet of snow by Tuesday.

In the Central Cascades, near Lane County, 18 to 36 inches of snow could fall.

The Columbia River Gorge could get 2 to 6 inches of snow Saturday night though Sunday morning.
