At least one suspect in connection to last month's killing of a Kelso store clerk was arrested, after a police chase and officer involved shooting on I-84 Tuesday night.

Vancouver Police pursued a black truck across the I-205 bridge into Portland.

At some point during the pursuit, there was an exchange of gunfire between the suspect and a Vancouver Police Officer. The suspect truck was eventually stopped on I-84 West near Lloyd Center between 33rd and 12th Avenues.

Police say two men were then taken into custody, one of them identified as 23-year-old Erkinson Bossy. The other suspect has not been identified.

A Vancouver Police Officer was treated for minor injuries at a hospital. One suspect sustained life-threatening injuries and is being treated at a hospital. Police say the suspect's injuries are not from gunshot wounds. It's unclear which suspect suffered life-threatening injuries.

Bossy is accused of driving the getaway vehicle after the shooting death of Kayla Chapman during a robbery at the Holt's Quik Check in Kelso last month.

Earlier in the day on Tuesday, police say they also arrested 21-year-old Nenemeny Ekiek in connection to Chapman's killing.

The arrests of Bossy and Ekiek are in addition to the arrest of 19-year-old D'Anthony Williams, who's accused of shooting Chapman during the robbery.

After a 14 hour investigation, I-205 at the I-84 interchange reopened around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
