A Portland Police Officer pulled a driver over Friday evening near Northeast Halsey and 43rd Avenue.
During the stop, a struggle occurred and the adult male driver drove away from the stop location. The suspect crashed into a parked vehicle in the area of Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 53rd Avenue.
The suspect was arrested and officers conducted a Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) investigation.
The sergeant suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
