The Portland Police Bureau and the Hathaway family are asking for the public's help to solve the homicide of 28-year-old Andrew Hathaway.

The Hathaway family has pledged a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case. This is in addition to a Crime Stoppers of Oregon offer of a reward of up to $2,500 cash to help solve this case.

This investigation started on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at 1:01 a.m., when Portland Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the report of a vehicle fire in the 6200 block of North Marine Drive.

Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives responded to the scene to conduct a death investigation. The Oregon State Medical Examiner identified the deceased as 28-year-old Andrew Patrick Hathaway of Milwaukie and determined that he died of homicidal violence.

There is no suspect information in this case.
