Portland Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian in downtown Portland Friday morning.
It happened at the intersection of Southwest Park and Salmon streets.
The man who was hit was transported to a hospital where he died.
Police say the man was crossing Southwest Salmon Street in an unmarked crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling on Southwest Salmon Street.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. At this time in the investigation there have been no arrests or citations.
