A deer caused a crash on Highway 22W near the Salt Creek Store Thursday afternoon.
Oregon State Police say a rider on a motorcycle with a sidecar and passenger swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
The motorcycle hit the side of a Chevrolet Yukon travelling in the opposite direction and crashed.
The rider and passenger died at the scene.
Two people in the Yukon suffered minor injuries.
No names have been released.
