The demonstrations that followed the 2016 election caused more than a million dollars in damage in Portland.
Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler tweeted today that they're hearing about demonstrations planned in Portland tonight.
Wheeler says at least six outside groups are planning to demonstrate.
Wheeler says demonstrators cannot block streets, freeways or public transportation.
Wheeler says Portland Police have tried to contact the groups, but none has responded.
None of the groups has applied for a permit to march.
