Portland Police Launch Bias, Hate Crimes Database

The Portland Police Bureau is launching a new database for tracking bias and hate crimes.

The bureau says the database is open to the public and will be updated every three months.

They hope the new database will help increase transparency while encouraging people to report more bias and hate crimes.

You can see the database on the Portland Police Bureau's website at portlandoregon.gov/police, then clicking on the Open Data tab.
