Demi Lovato Reportedly Heading Back To Rehab After Alleged Overdose

As many probably expected, Demi Lovato is reportedly heading back to rehab after being hospitalized for an alleged overdose, E! News has confirmed.

On Wednesday (July 25), a number of sources weighed in on the pop superstar's unfortunate circumstances, which arrived after a night out with friends following months of partying. "She had been partying for 12 straight hours and it caught up with her," one of five sources told E! News. "This was going on for a few weeks and the warning signs were there. She slipped up and thought she could handle it. This is obviously a huge wake-up call. Demi doesn't want to die and she's very grateful to be alive. She will be leaving the hospital and heading straight to rehab. Her family has been by her side supporting her and is getting her the help she needs."

As the story goes, Lovato and a big group of friends were drinking at Saddle Ranch Chop House in Los Angeles the night before her overdose and decided to head to her house in the Hollywood Hills to continue partying. They were reportedly celebrating her choreographer's birthday. Lovato was treated with overdose reversal drug Narcan at her home, before being transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. As per another source, her ex Wilmer Valderrama visited her on late Wednesday evening and stayed overnight.
