A witness called 911 Friday to report a vehicle that was following a UPS truck and stealing packages that had been delivered in a Happy Valley neighborhood near SE Johnson Creek Boulevard and SE Wyndham Way.
A Clackamas County Deputy responded and located the vehicle being driven 20-year-old Dylan Young.
The deputy attempted to do a traffic stop on Young who also had another male and female passenger with him; however, he fled and eventually crashed into a pole.
Young and the other occupants fled the scene on foot.
Young and an unidentified female were arrested shortly afterwards while the second male still remains at large.
The vehicle, which was driven by Young, had been stolen from the Clackamas Town Center earlier in the morning and the packages which had been stolen off the doorsteps were located in the vehicle and returned to the proper owners.
