Oregon's race for the Governor's office will have Democratic Governor Kate Brown running against Republican Knute Buehler.
In Wasington County's hotly contested District Attorney's race Kevin Barton defeated Max Wall. It was the most expensive DA's race in Oregon's history due to a Political Action Committee backing Wall. Barton says he coudn't have won without grassroots community support.
Val Hoyle leads the race for Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries Commissioner over Lou Ogden. Hoyle has 52% of the votes and if she maintains the margin over 50% she'll avoid a runoff.
Portland City Commissioner Nick Fish retained his seat.
In the race for the open Portland City Council seat Jo Ann Hardesty leads Loretta Smith, and since neither candidate got over 50% of the votes they'll runoff in November.
Deborah Kafoury won her race and will continue to be the Multnomah County Commission Chair.
Portland's Children's levy renewal passed.
Tualatin's bond for traffic improvements is expected to pass.
The Tigard City Services levy is projected to fail.
The Beaverton School's Levy is projected to pass.
The Lake Grove Fire Services Levy is projected to pass.
The Happy Valley Levy is projected to pass.
The West Linn Roads, Parks and City bonds measure is projected to pass.
