A homicide investigation is underway in Tualatin.
Thursday night, police were called to a house near 170th and Southwest Shawnee Trail.
When officers arrived in the area they found a 73-year-old woman dead and a 47-year-old man with what appeared to be serious injuries.
The male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The female victim appeared to have suffered from homicidal violence.
Officers also located a 40-year-old male suspect inside the home. The male suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was lodged.
Police have not said what happened.
