The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that injured one person on Sexton Mountain in Beaverton Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened near Muledeer Drive and Marcile Lane.
The person who was wounded was taken to a hospital.
Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area, but have not been able to find the suspect.
Schools in the area were placed into lockdown during the search.
Deputies have not said what led to the shooting.
