Rabbit Romp Set At Oregon Zoo

Eggs-citing times are in store Saturday, March 31, when the Oregon Zoo hosts its annual Rabbit Romp, a celebration of spring geared toward the 10-and-under set.

Rabbit Romp, free with regular zoo admission, features candy “egg” hunts every 10 to 15 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to hunt for eggs, candy and prizes. (All “plastic” eggs are fully compostable Eco Eggs.) Toddlers 2 and under can participate in a special hunt organized especially for them. Guests should bring their own baskets to collect the treats.

Rabbit Romp festivities also include pettable animals at the Family Farm, bunny crafts, games, photo opportunities, and a chance to meet some of the Wildlife Live program’s animals at Elephant Plaza.

The Oregon College Savings Plan will be at Rabbit Romp with a prize wheel full of giveaways for kids. Parents can also learn more about saving for college with useful information from the experts.
