Multnomah County Sheriff's deputies have captured an inmate who escaped from a work crew.
On Thursday, 25-year-old Scott Smith was on a work crew when he escaped and stole an ODOT truck that had been left running.
The truck was found, but Smith was missing.
Early Saturday morning, deputies found Smith in a Gresham apartment near NE 164th and Glisan. He was arrested without incident.
He's charged with Parole Violation, but could face additional charges.
Smith's girlfriend, Codie Corbit, was also arrested and charged with Hindering Prosecution.
