An investigation is underway into a deadly officer involved shooting in Keizer.
An officer shot and killed a robbery suspect who was armed with a gun Wednesday night, after a pursuit on Springtime Court NE.
The robbery happened at a Pizza Hut on River Road N. Police say the suspect fled officers in a car, starting a police chase.
During the pursuit, the driver crashed into another car, pushing it through an intersection. The suspect then got out of the car and ran down Springtime Court NE.
Police say there was a confrontation and a Keizer police officer opened fire, killing the suspect.
No officers were injured.
The driver of the car that was hit during the pursuit was not hurt.
The suspect's name has not yet been released.
