A man was killed in an officer involved shooting Saturday night in Hillsboro.
Police were called to a domestic disturbance on SE 54th Avenue near Del Rio Court.
As officers approached the residence, they encountered a male adult armed with a firearm. During the initial contact there was an exchange of gunfire. The man died at the scene.
No officers were hurt.
The Washington County Major Crimes Team is investigating.
