Acting on a tip, Forest Grove Police have arrested a man who’s accused of running an identity theft operation in a room at the McMenamins Grand Lodge.
The tip was about a suspicious U-Haul van and when police tried to stop it the driver fled.
They tracked the vehicle down to the McMenamins Grand Lodge where they arrested 27-year-old Garrett Pruitt-Rexroad.
They served a search warrant and found evidence of a credit card manufacturing operation.
Pruitt-Rexroad was lodged at the Washington County Jail for Attempt to Elude a Police Officer, Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor, and Reckless Driving.
