Winter Storm Warning

Snow

The National Weather Service has a Winter Storm Warning in effect until 4 a.m. Wednesday morning for Southwest Washington and the northern Willamette Valley.

Light snow will fall during the midday Tuesday and then heavier snow will begin to fall Tuesday afternoon.

By Wednesday morning, there could be 3 to 7 inches of snow in the ground in the Valley, 1 to 2 inches at the Coast and 3 to 8 inches in the Gorge and the Cascades.

Temperatures will remain cold through Friday, so snow and ice will continue to be problems for schools, businesses and drivers.
