Winter Weather Returns

Snow fell Sunday morning on hills from Southwest Washington into the Willamette Valley. Temperatures were above freezing and roads remained wet.

The National Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory posted for more snow Sunday night and icy roads Monday morning.

Light accumulation is possible Sunday night on the Valley floor and more accumulation is possible in the hills.

Sunday night temperatures will drop below freezing and black ice is a possibility.

Temperatures will remain below freezing through the commute Monday morning and roads are expected to be slick.

Monday night and Tuesday night temperatures will drop to the lowest level of the winter with lows in the low to mid 20's. It'll be colder in rural areas.

There is a slight chance of more snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.
