The Washington County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify a suspect in a shooting Monday night in the Bethany neighborhood.
At 5:23 p.m., a man called 9-1-1 to report someone had entered his home and shot him.
The house is located in the 16000 block of Northwest Rondos Drive.
Deputies arrived and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies rendered medical aid to the victim, who was later transported by Life Flight helicopter to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Deputies conducted an extensive search of the neighborhood but the suspect was not located.
Deputies say there's no danger to the public. They don't have a description of the suspect.
