A man who was outside of a stopped van on the Hubbard Highway south of Wilsonville was killed by a DUI driver.
Oregon State Police say 59-year-old Kenneth Pepperling, of Wilsonville, was driving southbound on the highway when he drifted into the emergency lane and hit a stopped van.
The driver of the van, 56-year-old Christopher Kelleher, was outside of the van when the crash happened and was killed.
The passenger in the van, 56-year-old Gina Kelleher, wasn't hurt.
Pepperling was arrested for felony DUI.
